Day 1: Bogotá

Assembly at airport and private transfer to chosen hotel.

Stay.

Day 2: Bogotá – Private City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel.

9:00 am. Scenic tour of the historical district of the city, passing Teatro Colón, Palacio de San Carlos where the Foreign Ministry is based, the Church of San Ignacio, the Presidential Palace of Nariño, Plaza de Bolívar, the Capitol, City Hall and the Cathedral. Visit to the famous Gold Museum.  After that, ascent by cable car to Monserrate hill, which offers an excellent view of the Colombian capital.

Notes:

Monday: Gold Museum is closed, replaced by Botero Exhibition.

Sunday: Monserrate is not included, replaced by the Quinta de Bolivar or the Botero Exhibition.

Return to hotel. Stay.

Day 3: Bogotá – Visit to the Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral – Villa de Leyva

Breakfast at 8:00 am.

Drive from hotel to visit Zipaquirá, which is located 49 kilometers north of Bogotá. The Bogotá Savanna and the Puente del Común are sites of interest that can be seen en route. Arrival to the Salt Cathedral, which was built in a 190-meter deep mine and is considered the number one wonder of Colombia. Inside the Cathedral you will see the Ambulatory or Way of the Cross, the Vault, the Ramp, the Choir, Balconies, the Complex of the Nartex and the Grand Naves of the Cathedral. A panoramic tour of the town of Zipaquirá follows the Salt Cathedral visit.

Travel to Villa de Leyva.

During the journey you can see the Puente de Boyacá as well as the city of Tunja. Arrival to Villa de Leyva, a municipality which was declared a national monument in the year of 1954.

Free time for personal activities, dinner of your choice and stay.

Day 4: Villa de Leyva – Ráquira – Bogotá – Pereira

Breakfast at the hotel.

We continue the tour of Villa de Leyva and its surroundings with a visit to the Paleontological Museum, as well as the Antonio Ricaurte and Antonio Nariño Museums. Return to Bogotá via Ráquira. Private transfer service to airport in Bogotá to take flight to Pereira, airport assistance and delivery of boarding passes from our staff.

Day 5: Pereira – Interactive Coffee Tour

Breakfast at hotel, free morning.

Hacienda Génova is the exclusive producer of Café de Pereira and has over 120 years of coffee growing tradition. It is located in the Condina sector where you can see the Coffee Culture Landscape. In this grand Hacienda we can truly see the process of coffee production and its authentic origins, see how collectors do their daily jobs of harvesting, processing and grain drying.   There,

we will tour the main house of the Hacienda, which exhibits traditional architecture

and culture of the coffee region. Technical lecture with the Hacienda owner and specialized staff. Visit and immersion in coffee plantations and processing and drying of grain, ending with coffee tasting in the main house as part of an authentic experience with this Coffee Hacienda family legacy. This coffee process takes place in the afternoon. Dinner of your choice and stay.

Day 6: Pereira – Excursion to Salento and Valle del Cocorá

Breakfast at hotel, assistance at hotel from our guide, drive to Cocorá Valley close to Armenia. Welcome

cocktail and assistance from a specialist Cocorá eco-guide. Start the walk or horseback ride (optional at extra cost) through the cloud forest where you can appreciate the diversity of the area’s flora and fauna. On the way back we cross the Quindío River and follow the ecological path of the highest wax palm in the world, which is also Colombia’s national tree. Lunch

included. Free time to enjoy the area. Return to hotel at agreed time. Dinner of your choice and stay.

Day 7: Pereira – Medellín

Breakfast at the hotel.

Private land transfer from Armenia to Medellín without guide. Free time for personal activities, dinner of your choice and stay.

Day 8: Medellín – Private City Tour

Breakfast at the hotel, assistance from our guide to begin

panoramic tour of places of interest in the city such as El Poblado, Pueblito Paisa, the EPM Intelligent Building and La Alpujarra Administrative Center. Visit the Museum of Antioquia to see works of the renowned artist Fernando Botero. Return to hotel.

Day 9: Medellín – Excursion to Piedra del Peñol and Guatapé

Breakfast at the hotel.

Assistance in the hotel and tour of Eastern Antioquia. Visit to the villages of El Nuevo Peñol and Guatapé. Visit to the giant monolith where, after climbing 750 steps, you can admire a stunning panoramic view of the reservoir and the surrounding area. Climbing to the top of the rock is optional for passengers, as well as

extreme sports, zip-line over the reservoir and boat trip. Lunch not included.

Return to Medellín, dinner of your choice and stay.

 Day 10: Medellín – Cartagena

Breakfast at the hotel.

Private transfer to Medellín airport to take flight to Cartagena. Assembly at Cartagena airport and private transfer without guide to chosen hotel.

Day 11: Cartagena – Private City Tour

Hotel pick up; sightseeing tour begins with a visit to the modern city along one of the most beautiful and safest bays in the Americas (Cartagena Bay), tour of Manga island, where there are beautiful Republican-style houses. This is followed by a visit to the La Candelaria Convent situated on the hill of La Popa, one of the city’s highest hills, then to the Old Shoes monument and on to the San Felipe de Barajas Castle,

one of the city’s most important historical military fortifications. The tour moves on to Las Bóvedas (for shopping), and finally there is a walk through the city’s old walls and main streets and squares, accompanied by our professional tour guide, who will explain the history and leave you back where the tour started or another place of your choosing. Return to hotel and stay.

Day 12: Cartagena – All-day tour to Rosario Islands

Private transfer from Hotel to Dock

The Rosario Islands Natural Park is an archipelago comprised of 27 islands, 60 minutes from Cartagena de Indias. The San Pedro de Majagua Hotel is located on Isla Grande and owes its name to Pierre Daguet, a French painter who made his home and study there in 1955. The tour includes: boat transfers Cartagena-Islands-Cartagena, traditional lunch with fried fish and includes sailing taxes. Schedule: 9 am to 4 pm Private transfer from Dock to Hotel. Stay.

Day 14: Cartagena – Santa Marta

Pick up from hotel and start of scenic tour of Rodadero. Visit to Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, where the libertador Simón Bolívar died. Tour continues to the Tayrona gold Museum and the historic center of the city.  To finish, a tour of Taganga Bay.

Day 16: Santa Marta – Tayrona National Park
